Abstract Most of the studies on labyrinth weir were carried out in laboratory, and regression models have been developed for discharge coefficient terms pertinent independent parameters. It is difficult to obtain an exact analytical solution head relationship due existence 3D flow. Consequently, various forms soft computing techniques are used as appropriate alternative achieve greater accuracy developing a prediction model.
